Home-based telerehabilitation: A review of remote therapy frameworks

Remote therapy frameworks play the main role in home-based telerehabilitation. These remote therapies are exergames that help physical and cognitive rehabilitation of patient. The objective this review is to present using identify points can be improved development future systems. To carry out research, criteria PRISMA were adopted. Literature searches conducted up April 2021 Web Sicence, Pubmed, Cochrane, Embase Scopus databases. search query was: (("game*" OR "exergame*") AND ("rehabilitation") ("remote" "telerehabilitation" "telemedicine")). We have selected a total fourteen studies. found five types frameworks: Client-Server, Web-Based, Layers, Cloud Based Multi users. identified it may advantageous mix features these cheaper system prevent patient from having purchase more powerful computers. In addition, there some challenges need studied will also reduce costs for patient: 1) Reduce high processing on patient's computer; 2) Prevent expensive external devices motion tracking.
